The teenage years and young adulthood can be very difficult to navigate. You are trying to figure out who you are, what kind of friends you want, what to do about your family, and where you are going in life.Growing up in New Orleans as a black woman with a visual impairment, I have experienced the struggles of finding that exact taks. You want to move forward in peace and confidence. Therapy can be helpful in understanding and overcoming the obstacles that come up in everyday life. It is important to feel comfortable enough with your therapist to open up in order to heal and collaboratively find positive solutions to attain your goals.

My personal journey, systemic training, and calm demeanor will assist me in working with teens and young adults, couples, and families as they navigate life’s many transitions, find their identity, and become the people they envision themselves to be. This is best accomplished by highlighting your values and interests in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere.

Life is complicated, magical, and, at times, overwhelming. The help of a therapist can offer you new perspectives, create positive change, promote self-discovery, and make the heavy moments more manageable.
